Taking Care of your Jewelry
Many things can affect the life cycle of jewelry or cause skin reactions. Simple things you might not think about, like high humidity, sweat, medications, even sleeping in jewelry.
Following are some good practices for jewelry care...
Store jewelry in a cool, dry place. Do not store jewelry in a bathroom.
Do not wear jewelry in the shower or swimming.
Store each piece of jewelry separately to prevent rubbing.
Put jewelry on last, after using hairsprays, perfumes, lotions, make-up etc.
Take jewelry off first when returning home.
Clean jewelry gently every few wearings.
Minimize any contact with chemicals.
Playing contact sports? Please remove your jewelry.
If you have purchased enamel jewelry please wear with care. Enamel is fused glass particles and just
as a dropped glass can shatter or crack when hit sharply against something hard, so too can enamel if it is hit really hard enough.
